Precious Freeman has successfully worked as a strategic planner, consultant, and leader in the nonprofit industry for over a decade. Following her time at Indiana State University, Precious earned a certificate in Fundraising and Grant Strategies from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. Precious has concentrated on developing and implementing strategies that bring both individual and organizational goals and visions to life. Currently, Precious manages corporate giving for a local automotive group and also is an owner and managing partner of BFC Management, a consulting agency focused on philanthropy, community relations, and donor relationship building. The company manages ongoing projects with various entities such as the richly historical G.W. Carver Interpretive Museum, the Henry Hammond Cobb Jr. Foundation, and Mike Schmitz Automotive Group.
Employing her company’s philosophy of strengthening organizations that help strengthen local communities, Precious spends much of her time on spearheading innovative plans of action to help clients with impactful community initiatives. Actively engaged in a variety of community programs and activities, Precious currently serves as a Board Member for numerous organizations including the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, Wiregrass Hope Group, Dothan Housing Authority, BBVA - Dothan Market, and the Dothan Community Relations Group. Precious is also a member of Class I of the Alabama Leadership Initiative and has served on the Alabama Leadership Initiative’s Selection Committee for three years.
Biko Freeman, owner/co-founder of BFC Management, is a Procurement Engineering Supervisor at Farley Nuclear Plant, where he has been a supervisor for the past ten years. He is highly skilled in leadership development, team communication, problem-solving, and training young professionals. His leadership savvy and teaching methods have helped him progress in the engineering industry and have provided countless individuals with new outlooks on their lives and careers. Being kind and working hard are paramount in his approach to life.
Biko is from Decatur, Alabama and currently resides in Dothan, Alabama with his wife, Precious, and their three children.
For nearly a decade Tretta Bush has been a sought Managerial Accountant specializing in small business operations. Her expertise in accounting, tax strategy, and operations has allowed her to successfully service a plethora of diverse businesses. Her roster of clients range from church leaders to benchmarking CEOs and their annual earnings have ranged from 60k to 100m. But it was Tretta’s personal experience with crippling debt that started the next leg of her journey.
Tretta’s financial prowess has been featured in ESSENCE Magazine and she has appeared on MSN.com as a financial expert. Tretta also carries a weekly segment on the Stellar Award Winning Radio 1000 offering practical tips on how to live a full life while being financially responsible.
Now, as a personal finance educator, Tretta uses personal mantra of “Building Wealth In My Stilettos” to drive home her commitment to being spiritually grounded, fabulous, and wealthy!

Kienda is a vital part of BFC Management's nonprofit management team. As the Program Manager of the George Washington Carver Interpretive Museum, she curates and executes inspirational and educational experiences for all museum guests. She has a knack for hearing a vision and making it a reality, and she just completed her first book entitled "She Survived." Kienda believes that only she can put a stop to her success: there is no person, place, or thing that can prevent her from achieving what she is destined to do.
She was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama, where she currently resides with her two children that she says she learns from daily. "Because of them, I am a better me."
Destiny is the Communications Manager for BFC Management, where she handles all external and internal communication efforts for the company. She graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor's degree in English and from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master's degree in Communication Management. She has written over 65 news and feature articles for publications across the state, and she helped establish a nationally-acclaimed business with her family before joining the BFC Management team.
Destiny enjoys reading and writing for work and leisure, and she always has an ear ready for a good story. She currently resides in Dothan, Alabama, and lives by a simple mantra taught to her by her high school English teacher: "If you know better, do better."
Mashonda Taylor is the Chief Community Relations Officer for the Woodlawn Foundation, a holistic neighborhood revitalization organization committed to the elimination of generational poverty in the Woodlawn Community in Birmingham, Alabama. Since the foundation’s inception in 2010, they have developed a high quality mixed-income housing strategy, a cradle-to-college education pipeline, and community wellness programs to support and provide residents a better quality of life. As CCRO, Mashonda is committed to serving the residents of Woodlawn and leads all the Community Wellness efforts for the foundation. She is constantly establishing and building relationships in the community and evaluating not only the needs of the community, but also its assets. More recently, Mashonda is actively involved in the development of a Family Success Center that will house the foundation’s adult education and work force development programs.
Mashonda is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Gonzaga University with a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. She is dedicated to community service and has served in many facets. Mashonda is a Commissioner for the Birmingham Planning Commission, the 2018-2019 Volunteer Vice President for the Junior League of Birmingham, and Executive Board Member for Jones Valley Teaching Farm, and is an Advisory Board Member for the Blackburn Institute at the University of Alabama. She is also a member of Class I of the Alabama Leadership Initiative, a Catalyst Fellow for the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and a Trustee for Mount Hillard Baptist Church. More recently, Mashonda was awarded About Town's Trailblazer award for her philanthropy work in the community.
